Create message
The "Create Notification" application provides all necessary fields including camera access for capturing damage photos and a GPS function for creating maintenance notifications. Data entry can be done entirely offline.
The captured images or uploaded documents are stored in the notification via ArchiveLink.
Catalogs and the reporting schema from standard SAP functions are used. For selecting the short text of the notification, both free text and CA10 standard texts can be used.
Extensive customization options are available to provide users with only the data relevant to them.
When creating a notification, the following data can be captured as standard:
- Functional Location
- Notification Type
- Object Part
- Damage Pattern
- Priority
- Short and Long Texts
- Attachment of photos and videos
When entering the Functional Location, two solution approaches can be selected:
- The guided solution via input of individual hierarchy levels and direct entry using autocomplete
or
- The barcode function for displaying and scanning the Functional Location
When entering the Functional Location, a message will indicate if notifications have already been created for this location. By clicking on the message, details (notification history) can be displayed.
