Managing Technical Objects
The „Install and Remove Equipment” application is designed for fitters and technicians working in the SAP maintenance environment. It supports them in the mobile installation of equipment in functional locations or higher-level equipment. Equipment can also be removed from functional locations or higher-level equipment using mobile devices. The application also allows equipment to be converted to other functional locations or higher-level equipment using mobile devices.
The application is rounded off by the option of creating and installing new equipment.
It is also possible to display functional locations and equipment.

- Selection of functional locations using guided selection
- Find equipment using search help or direct entry
- Barcode scanner for immediately finding a functional location or piece of equipment
- Creation of equipment with or without classification
- Installation, removal, and modification of equipment at functional locations
- Installation, removal, and modification of equipment at higher-level equipment
- Display and modification of equipment
- Display and modification of functional locations
- Display and modification of classifications of equipment and functional locations
- Display and storage of documents at functional locations and equipment via ArchiveLink
- Extensive customizing for efficient processing of master data and installation/removal processes
