Create Notification

 

The “Create notification” application provides the necessary fields, including a camera for taking photos of damage and a GPS function for creating maintenance notifications. Entries can be made completely offline.

The photos taken or documents uploaded are stored with the report via ArchiveLink.

Catalogs and the report schema from the SAP standard functions are used. In addition to free text, CA10 standard texts can also be used to select the short text for the report.

Extensive customizing functions are available to provide users with exactly the data that is relevant to them.

The following data can be entered when creating a notification in the standard system:

  • Technical location
  • Notification type
  • Object part
  • Damage description
  • Priority
  • Short and long texts
  • Attachment of photos and videos

When entering the functional location, you can choose between two approaches:

  • The guided solution by entering the individual hierarchy levels and direct entry using autocomplete

or

  • The barcode function for displaying and scanning the functional location

When entering the functional location, a note is displayed referring to the messages already recorded for the functional location. By clicking on the note, details of the messages recorded so far (message history) can be displayed.
